Alberto Mingardi is Director General of the Italian free-market think tank, Istituto Bruno Leoni (ww.brunoleoni.it). He is also associate professor of the history of political thought at IULM University in Milan and a Presidential Scholar in Political Theory at Chapman University. He is also an adjunct fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington, DC. He blogs at EconLog and writes regularly for the economic supplement of Corriere della sera. His last book, authored with Gilberto Corbellini, is “La società chiusa in casa. La libertà dei moderni dopo la pandemia” (Venice, Marsilio, 2021).
