Director of the School of Gender Economics at Unitelma Sapienza University of Rome and co-founder of Equonomics, Azzurra Rinaldi is a member of the board of the European Women Association, serves on the Board of Opera for Peace and is a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Observatory on Tertiary ManagerItalia.
Development and cooperation issues for the reduction of the gap between the world’s poorest and richest areas have been at the center of her interests since her early years, always with a focus on gender equality. Her area of research and analysis focuses on issues related to ‘gender economics. Engaged in several field projects, she has been working for years in international cooperation for women’s education and empowerment in countries such as Lebanon and India. Author of articles and books on gender gap, economics of emerging countries and tourism, she participates in national and international conferences to talk about gender and equality.
