Visiting fellow at the Peterson Institute since October 2018, she is Senior Economist in the International Relations and Economics Department at the Bank of Italy. Her current research focus is on the regulation of technology companies, with emphasis on the effects of competition policy on the development of artificial intelligence. In the recent past, she worked on the economics of cybersecurity, and cybersecurity governance in central banks.
