Emine Dzhaparova is First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Head of the Ukrainian National Commission on UNESCO since May 2020.
From 2016 to 2019 she is Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. Previously, she is advisor on Crimea to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine.
From 2011 to 2014 she worked as journalist, author of programs on the Crimean Tatar ATP TV channel and assistant to the editor-in-chief of the site “Crimea.Realities” and “Radio Svoboda”.
From 2008 to 2010 she is attaché to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. She also worked as assistant on National Minorities in the service of the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Humanitarian Affairs.
Born in Crimea, she earned a Master’s degree in international relations and politology from the Institute of international relations Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
