US Chief Correspondent of La Repubblica, he is a White House correspondent, covering the international trips of US presidents. A prolific writer, he is the author of more than twenty essays on immigration and globalization, technology, China, and India. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Affairs and Visiting Professor at the business school SDA-Bocconi in Milan for the joint program with the ESADE Business School in Barcelona. With La Repubblica, he had previous assignments in Beijing, San Francisco, Paris, and Brussels.
